Ryan is a proud 11-year partner (employee) of Starbucks Coffee Company and serves as Business Development Manager for Greater Boston, New Hampshire, and Maine. In this specialized role, he isone of 65 partners in the U.S. who grow Starbucks’ market share through channels outside of company-operated stores.
Music is near and dear to Ryan’s heart. He began playing piano at age six after being inspired by Marvin Hamlisch at one of his tour stops in Ryan’s hometown. With more inspiration from his Grandmother, Ryan then learned classical organ which lead to him to a music director position at a Catholic parish by age 16 and accolades from Wittenberg University’s Sacred Music faculty. He then pursued a double major at Seton Hill University in Human Resources Management and Piano Performance with a secondary focus in Vocal Performance.
In addition to MWO, Ryan serves on the board of Starbucks Women’s Development Network New England as Co-Chair as well as the board of Boston Gay Men’s Chorus as Executive Committee Clerk. Previously, Ryan served on the board of Springfield Civic Theatre as Director and has been involved in many local nonprofits including Fenway Health, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and Women’s Foodservice Forum.

Jay Joynes studied music education at Wilkes University following in the footsteps of his family, each musically gifted across a variety of instruments. Following this, Jay studied business administration at Temple University. Currently working in Finance Operations with The Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, Inc. In this role, Jay manages departmental and organization-wide projects in conjunction with member institutions and associated partnerships. Previously Jay has served on the Board of Directors for the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, where he helped develop the current strategic plan and created and chaired the Diversity Committee. This opportunity also enabled Jay to reach new fundraising goals with corporate and private sponsors. In addition to this, Jay founded and operated JMJ Events (a boutique event planning firm). Through his career, Jay has acquired certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Healthcare Quality and Event Planning.
Colombia Nunez-Orozco, Secretary

Colombia is currently an employee of State Street Bank and Trust. She joined State Street in 2012 as a Cash, Trade, and Custody associate. In this position she provided operational assistance by processing, monitoring, researching and conciliating daily, weekly, and monthly financial events. Since then, she has held various roles with in the organization as an analyst in Risk and Compliance and Information Security. Currently, Colombia is a project management lead for State Streets Client Services in North America. The focus of her current position is to facilitate corporate wide projects, by vetting, planning, and communicating initiatives to our audience. This involves providing weekly status reports, liaising between the businesses and holding weekly meeting with project stakeholders and senior management. A big part of her career at State Street has involved training and educating her peers on subjects in which she has been deemed expert, analyzing, and processing large quantities of data to facilitate more efficient business reviews. With all her positions she has strived to provide and seek alternative and strategic solutions to issues facing the business.
Prior to joining State Street Colombia worked at Konditor Meister as a Wedding Coordinator assisting customers with their wedding cake design and JP Morgan Chase Bank as a personal banker, providing financial guidance to customers. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Regis College with a concentration in Sociology and Economic Policy.

Charles Kilgore is a business analyst with Boston-based Steward Health Care, focusing primarily on the systems behavioral health operations. Prior to that, he worked in non-profit administration for The Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, OH and volunteered on historical archiving projects with several other organizations. He has been involved with Metro West Opera since 2013. Outside of work, he competes in marathons and ultramarathons. He is a graduate of Ohio University (BA) and Cleveland State University (MBA).

Jennifer Kain Kilgore is the attorney editor for both the Association of International Law Firm Networks and Enjuris.com. She is a licensed attorney and worked as an associate with the Boston-area law firm of Brown & Knight, LLC, concentrating her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, business planning, and real estate. She was the managing editor of the New England Journal of International & Comparative Law and was published in Volume 18.1. Ms. Kilgore has worked with the Massachusetts Reporter of Decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the Medical-Legal Partnership | Boston, and the Boston Municipal Court. She served as attorney editor for the popular financial news website Benzinga.com and was the editorial assistant for two award-winning regional magazines, Berkshire Living and Berkshire Business Quarterly. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. Ms. Kilgore graduated from Ohio University (B.S., Journalism, cum laude, 2005) and the New England School of Law (J.D., 2012).
Fanny Lora, Director

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Fanny (fahnee) is a vibrant artist, music educator, and arts administrator. As a singer, she specializes in Spanish/Latino repertoire and her genuine interpretations successfully bring the repertoire to life for the audience. Fanny is an active performer, who enjoys singing in private and public events, opera, and recitals. As a music educator, Fanny is very interested in developing curricula that is student centered and directly related to the social mission of any given arts organization. Fanny has worked for the Metropolitan Opera Guild teaching music in Spanish at the Joseph Hurley School, and for the Boston Children’s Chorus as Teaching Fellow and Social Framework Liaison. She is a graduate of Ithaca College. In 2016, Fanny became Chairwoman for MetroWest Opera’s Executive Board.
