MetroWest Opera 7th Annual Vocal Competition for Emerging Artists
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MONDAY, MARCH 27th @ 11:59 PM
ABOUT METROWEST OPERA
MetroWest Opera was created to provide quality and professional performance opportunities for emerging young opera singers, while enriching the arts community in Boston’s MetroWest area. Since 2008, MetroWest Opera has delighted audiences with operas such as Massenet’s Cendrillon, Mozart’s Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges, Mozart’s The Impresario, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and Moore’s Gallantry. More recently MetroWest Opera has presented Bizet’s Carmen, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, and in 2016 Mark Adamo’s Little Women. MetroWest Opera is always seeking new ways to expand upon our mission, and thus the Annual Vocal Competition was born seven years ago!
What makes the MWO Vocal Competition unique is that every applicant is guaranteed an audition, and each participant will receive individualized, written feedback from the adjudicators.
